Charging an EV in Spokane

Our electric cars — a 2023 Model Y, a 2017 Model S and a 2023 Bolt — all leave with a full charge and a charging cable. Here is what that means in practice.

Around town

A week of Spokane errands is well inside a single charge on any of the three. Downtown has Level 2 chargers in several garages, and the Tesla vehicles can use the Supercharger network — charging on our account is included for Model S rentals.

Day trips

Coeur d'Alene is about 35 miles each way; Sandpoint roughly 90. Both are easy round trips without charging. Going further into Montana, plan a stop — the Bolt charges fastest on a DC fast charger, the Teslas on their own network.

Returning the car

Bring it back at roughly the charge it left with. If you are short on time, tell us — we would rather recharge it ourselves than have you miss a flight.
